Where can I download Dezyne?

On the Download page you can download an archive file for each supported platform, i.e. Windows, Linux and MacOS. Once unpacked you can start using Dezyne by running the Dezyne executable.

On the same page you will find instructions/guidelines on how to Install and use the Dezyne command-line client and on how to Use Dezyne as plugin in Eclipse.

What do I get when I download Dezyne?

Once you have unpacked the downloaded archive on your system you get the following:

  • a minimal Eclipse installation with all plugins required to run Dezyne
  • an executable to start Dezyne

Once you start Dezyne and authenticate as Dezyne user you will get the following also:

  • the Dezyne command line client, a.k.a. dzn
  • a daemon, a.k.a. dzn-daemon, required to be able to access the Dezyne services

Can I install and use Dezyne in an existing IDE?

Yes. Please read and follow the steps to Use Dezyne as plugin in Eclipse.

Can I use Dezyne in a nightly build?

What means ‘free’ in ‘free Dezyne’?

Dezyne is freely available for non-commercial use to anyone prepared to register as a Dezyne user.

The free version of Dezyne may not be used for any type of commercial activity.

Under the free use licence agreement any models you build or code you generate is treated as Open Source and Verum reserves the right to freely publish them.

By installing the free version of Dezyne you are explicitly agreeing to these terms.

What if I want to make commercial use of Dezyne?

There is a free 30-day evaluation version of Dezyne you can start with. This version is without the restrictions of the free Dezyne.

How do I report a Dezyne related issue?

Dezyne related issues, like problem reports and change requests, are submitted via the Customer Service Request Portal.

What kind of issues can I report?

We advise you to report the following type of issues via Verum’s Customer Service Request Portal:

  • Problem reports: when you have experienced a mall function of Dezyne
  • Change requests: when you noticed a missing feature in Dezyne
  • Information requests: when you have a question related to the use of Dezyne

How can I check the status of my issues?

Via your user profile page on this website you have access to an overview of the issues reported by you, while via Verum’s Customer Service Portal you can check in detail each issue reported by you and/or reported by your colleagues.
