Newest ASD:Suite release makes comparing models easy

September 14, 2011

The key focus of ASD:Suite Release 3 has been on continuously improving the user experience. Now with the launch of Release 3 version 7.3.0 these improvements continue with the new ASD:Compare functionality.

During the evaluation phase of the ASD:Compare feature it became clear, this is one of those “most wanted” features that makes day to day development easier. Comparing models in the newest ASD:Suite release provides powerful features to view, compare and merge models. Highlighting changes is just a click away, and with the integration into the developer’s desktop it provides an intuitive way of working.

“Customer feedback reveals the importance and the ease of use of the new compare feature” comments Guy Broadfoot, CTO at Verum. “This feature further increases the support ASD already provides for Agile development. It is especially important that Agile Team members can collaborate and coordinate their changes to models being jointly developed. Developers can now easily see changes made by other team members and safely merge in their own modifications. It may even work as a catalyst to deploy Agile as a way of working in a team.“

In addition to the model compare feature, the latest release provides more details when starting verification. Together with the interactive visual verification and multiscreen setup, it provides a rich feature set to any software developer’s desktop.
